The Importance of Setting Goals

Setting goals is the key to getting ahead in your life. Without goals progression is very difficult or near impossible as everything will become unorganised and without a real plan.
Challenge yourself to set at least 3 goals for a day. The original way of setting goals is by making a list of activities you need to get done by today.
You must ask yourself: "If you don’t do it today, what makes you think you can do it tomorrow?"
This the key reason to getting things done!
By the same token, it’s important to understand some goals may take a longer time to achieve; therefore a clear, concise and effective list of short term goals- for the day- must directly result in the fulfilment of your long term goals. The most motivational action the human mind can experience is the process of crossing off a goal that you had. You feel productive, successful & above all... invincible.
Quite often people confuse the idea of goals with age. This is wrong. Age plays almost no role in the goals you may achieve now. Use age as your advantage. Think of people who actually have something to loose.
The younger you are, chances are you have less to loose. Think about older people who have big responsibilities such as taking care of family, full time work and ongoing commitment to pay bills/ debt. Younger people (in most cases) don't have this responsibility... this is why you must act now before it becomes harder to achieve your goals! If you challenge yourself to beat people who are older than you, then you know you're surely ahead of the game!
